Before assembly, you should carefully study and analyze the general assembly drawing. Parts diagram, to understand the role of each part, characteristics and its technical requirements, to determine the assembly benchmark. Through the assembly, the final comprehensive product quality indicators, mold action precision, and the use of the process of the technical requirements.
Assembling benchmark
(1) To
plastic mold in the main working parts such as cores, cavities, and inserts, etc. as the benchmark for assembly, other
parts of the mold have assembly benchmark parts for preparation and assembly.
(2) The side base surface of the guide pillar and guide bush or mold is used as the assembly reference surface for trimming and assembling.
Mold assembly accuracy
(1) The accuracy of the mutual boy of each zero and part, such as distance size accuracy, coaxial, equality, perpendicularity, etc.
(2) Relative motion accuracy, such as transmission accuracy, linear motion, and rotary motion accuracy, etc.
(3) Fit accuracy and contact accuracy, such as fit clearance, interference contact condition, etc.
(4) The wall thickness size of plastic molding parts. When the new mold is made, the wall thickness of the molded part should be on the lower limit of the size.
Repair principles
(1) Repair the slope of the mold release, in principle, the cavity should ensure that the size of the large end in the tolerance range of the size of the part core should ensure that the size of the small carbonyl in the tolerance range of the size of the part.
(2) Corner radius at the corner, the cavity should be small, the core should be large.
(3) When the mold both the horizontal parting surface and vertical parting surface when the correction should make the vertical parting surface contact when the horizontal parting surface slightly leaves a gap. Gap value depending on > 0.01mm; small mold only needs to be coated with red after mutual contact; large mold gap of about 0.02mm or so.
(4) For the mold with the beveled surface, after the beveled surface is closed, there should be a gap of 0.02-0.03mm at the parting surface.
(5) The arc of the repair surface and the straight-line connection should be smooth, the surface should not be allowed to have dents, and the filing pattern should be consistent with the opening direction.
