Injection Mold Processing

The plastic inside the mold is gradually and evenly coated and melted and adhered to the whole surface of the mold cavity under the action of gravity and heat energy, and then molded into the desired shape and made by cooling and shaping.

Basic Introduction

Rotational molding process has the following advantages compared with the traditional blow molding and injection molding process.

1、Cost advantage: Rotational molding process only requires the strength of the frame is sufficient to support the material, mold and the weight of the frame itself, in order to prevent the material leakage of the closed mold force; and the material in the whole molding process, in addition to the role of natural gravity, almost no external force, thus fully equipped with the advantages of convenient processing and manufacturing of machine and mold, short cycle time and low cost.

2、Quality advantage. The products of rotational molding process are more stable in quality and structure due to no internal stress during the whole production process.

3、Flexibility and versatility advantage. Rotational molding process is convenient and inexpensive, so it is especially suitable for new product development of multiple varieties and small batch production.

4、Personalized design advantage. The products in the rotational molding process are easy to change colors, and can be hollow (seamless and weldless), and the surface treatment of the products can be patterned, wood, stone and metal effects to meet the personalized needs of consumers in modern society.

The products produced by this process are: fuel tank, water tank, machinery shell, fender, etc. The main replacement objects are metal parts and FRP products.

Injection molding is a process that was developed based on, for example, LIGA's micro-manufacturing technology, and of course there are many other methods. The LIGA process is to produce a model for injection molding, commonly known as a "mold", and then fill the mold with liquid plastic, and finally separate it to form the final product needed. For example, some plastic toys, there are too many products.
